This is a Canadian Coast Guard helicopter patrolling the flood area. Hard to beleive we had that much coast in Manitoba!
These are two of many helicopters working for the Department of Natural Resources(DNR). Their landing field is right next to the DNR offices in Morris by the southern part of the ring dyke.
This is one of the larger helicpoters seen coming and going from Morris on a regular basis. You see it was always loaded with various reporters and camera people.
